Seribu Islands Regency has once again received the Adipura Award 2023 from the Indonesian Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK).

Seribu Islands Regent, Junaedi said the Anugerah Adipura Award is an appreciation in the field of cleanliness for the people of the Seribu Islands.
"Through this award, I urge residents and tourists who come to visit the Seribu Islands to always maintain cleanliness," he expressed, after receiving the Adipura Award, Tuesday (3/5).

"Creating a clean and beautiful environment must continue to be promoted together. Moreover, the Seribu Islands are a tourism destination," he added.
Community Participation and Legal Arrangement Section Head, Riza Lestari Ningsih added the Adipura Award achievement shows increased performance and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and environmental sustainability.
"Getting this award is not easy. I would like to thank all Seribu Islands residents who are active in maintaining cleanliness through efforts to minimize and handle waste well," he stated.
